Photos that I have taken over the summer
I have taken close to around one hundred photos this summer and narrowed it down to five of my favorites.
This is a photo of two mourning doves that I captured in my backyard both sitting together on a tree branch.
This is a chipmunk that I captured eating an acorn at Wildwood park near Harrisburg PA. I picked this photo because of the coloring of the beautiful blue lake behind the chipmunk.
This is a photo of Peanut that I have taken early in the summer. I have taken a lot of photos of him throughout the summer, but this one is my favorite's due to the great lighting during the afternoon while he was in the grass.
This is a photo of the ocean when my family went to Ocean City Maryland this summer during the Fourth of July weekend. This photo has nice textures and colors with the ocean waves rolling over the wet sandy beach.
This is a photo of a male cardinal who was sitting in my mother's garden looking for seeds to eat. The reason why I picked this as one of my favorite photos is because it took me a lot of skill and patience to capture a high quality photo of this cardinal.
I also enjoy making YouTube videos
Video of Peanut the squirrel eating during the summer
This is a compilation of video footage from Peanut the squirrel in my yard eating peanuts and acorns throughout the summer. I used a Canon EOS Rebel T6 with a 75-300mm zoom lens to capture Peanut the squirrel. It is hard to use a tripod with Peanut due to him contently moving and it did not help that I used a zoom lens instead of a standard lens. Even though that the camera that I use is not a dedicated video recorder, I still use it to sometimes capture videos every now and then.
Video of a hummingbird feeding in slow motion
This is a video of a hummingbird that is drinking from the bird feeder in my backyard. I captured this video in slow motion with a Go-Pro Hero 7 at 240 FPS at 1080p. In this video you can see how fast hummingbirds are able to flap their wings in real time.
